Death Stranding 2 Filming Concludes

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has finished its filming and recording process and has moved onto the “adjustment phase.” The only caveat is it’s unclear if Hideo Kojima is talking about the English or Japanese cast.

During Kojima’s radio show, Hideo Kojima’s Radio: Infinity, the developer commented that filming and recording has concluded (via Automation Media). Supposedly, the phase it’s in now will last a year and will comprise of the team refining scene and control transitions.

We still aren’t fully sure when we can expect Death Stranding 2, but assuming it goes straight ahead, we could see it around the latter half of 2025. It does have a fair bit to live up to, with our review calling it “… a game about finding faith in the darkness, getting back what we’ve lost, and remembering who we are and why we need each other…”
