Call of Duty: Warzone players are getting flashes of Activision telling them to “know your history.” The rumor mill has been running for quite a while about what the next COD game would be. It was rumored to be taking place during the Cold War and this certainly seems like they’re working on a history-centered entry. These flashes, though, isn’t the first piece of evidence that points to a reveal on the horizon.

Recently, COD partners have been receiving real-world packages from Activision with instructions not to open until Monday at 12 PM ET. This is clearly promo material for the next Call of Duty game and possibly a nod to when the reveal will happen.
