Walmart Black Friday Deals: $199 Bundles, $28 Games

The Black Friday deals are always intriguing for gamers. But it's even more interesting when a retailer breaks tradition and starts the sales a day early.

Walmart has decided that instead of beginning the madness on Black Friday, they'll offer some breaks later on Thanksgiving Day.

There are console bundles for $199: a 160GB PlayStation 3 with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One , LittleBigPlanet 2 , and 3 free months of PlayStation Plus, a 4GB Xbox 360 with Gears of War 3 , 3 free months of Xbox Live, and a $50 gift card, and a 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Kinect Adventures , and a $50 gift card. Oh, and that Mario & Sonic Wii bundle will be available in North America exclusively at Walmart for the ridiculously low price of $99.

But if you don't need any consoles, there are game sales, too. Most importantly, Walmart will discount some of the biggest titles of 2011: Batman: Arkham City , Gears of War 3 , Battlefield 3 , inFamous 2 , and Call of Duty: Black Ops (yes, the latter launched in 2010 but it was still big throughout this year). All of these games will have a super low $28 price tag. You can even get Yakuza 4 for only $9.99!

All of this begins at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving, so you may not have to brave the insane crowds six hours later. But bear in mind that not all sales will be evident until Black Friday, so you might have to check back.

Well, I guess I could buy multiple copies of yakuza 4 for $10 and trade them in at bestbuy for $17. Since that is the current trade in value ^_^ but I'll probably be staying home.

I believe that when it's all said and done, Walmart might end up being the last place you can purchase physical media.

Eventually, their buying power will win day.

I bought a GOTY edition of Asylum for 22, which is the cheapest I could find, not so long ago. It's quite tempting to get this one.

But what if it comes out a GOTY edition a bit later?…

Good decisions, great decisions… which one? 😀

Yes, but is still too soon for it and 28 is okay for vanilla version imo C:

Now to wait for the black Friday deals of BestBuy. This is a very good deal for the PS3 bundle, and hope to get Yakuza 4 also. Lets see if another good PS3 bundle comes up.

I hope they lower the prices for other games like Dead Space 1 and 2, among other great games, a bit further more like $15 or $20…

I found the first Bioshock (Greatest Hits edition) new for 6 bucks when it was labeled for 20 on a Toys'R'Us… I almost cried when I found it… :'D

I'm in mourning 'cause my Gunmetal Grey baby just up and died just like that… and I don't have any back up so that means starting from zero… saddest day since the death of my PS2… :'(

And just when there are so many games ripe for the buying…
