Forget Black Friday, I’m Staying Home And Playing…What?

People are already out there right now. But you're not gonna be one of them.

Maybe you're waiting on Cyber Monday. Maybe you got most of your shopping done early. Or, maybe you just don't want to brave the insane crowds. No, you'd rather stay in and hunker down with a great game.

The question is, which is it? We've seen lots of great titles in 2015 and with just about all of them available now ( Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six Siege launch next week, though), you've got lots of options. I'm just wondering what people will be playing the day after Thanksgiving. There aren't really any "Thanksgiving-themed" video games out there but that doesn't matter, right? You've got a free day to play what you want, so what will it be?

Maybe you need that free day to sink your teeth into something huge like Fallout 4 , Assassin's Creed Syndicate , or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . But maybe open-world games aren't your bag or you're simply tired of them, and you're diving into one of the new shooters; Star Wars: Battlefront or Call of Duty: Black Ops III . Then again, you might be going smaller, playing through some great indie titles you've been meaning to get to.

So, which is it?

GameStop Pre-Black Friday Deals Are Mucho Attractive

Why fight the insanity of Black Friday when you can take advantage of great pre -Black Friday sales?

Amazon has several such deals that might interest gamers, and now GameStop has stepped forward with their pre-Black Friday sales.

Starting Tuesday, November 24, the retailer will offer some fantastic PlayStation 4 bundles as well as 50 percent discounts on some super hot titles. They're calling these "door buster deals," which seems a little odd as nobody should be busting down any doors two days before Thanksgiving, but whatever. The point is that on November 24 and 25, there are a multitude of very attractive sales.

For instance, there's the Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 package that also contains a copy of Destiny The Taken King – Legendary Edition . That's like a multiplayer jackpot! You also have the option of a limited-edition Star Wars: Battlefront PS4, which comes with a free console carrier backpack. If you've already got the PS4, you can grab Until Dawn for only $30, a PS4 camera for $30, or take advantage of a buy 2-get 3 free deal on select Disney Infinity and Skylanders characters.

Don't forget that this year, GameStop is closed on Thanksgiving Day. They will, however, be open early on Black Friday, when you can expect even more sales. Like, for example, these awesome deals .

GameStop’s Black Friday Sales Leaked

Never too early to start spotting Black Friday deals!

You know, when I worked at EB Games way back when, the store didn't actually participate in any Black Friday events. There were never any sales for that day.

Well ahead of one of the busiest shopping days of the year, GameStop's Doorbusters have leaked, showing off a grand total of 319 discounted items. The fun kicks off on November 27 and if you like, feel free to check out the complete list . You will find some big sales on there, too, like $299 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One bundles (one featuring Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the other boasting Gears of War: Ultimate Edition ).

Other deals include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for only $30, and a free copy of Assassin's Creed Unity if you pick up the recently released Assassin's Creed Syndicate . So, ready to save? The good news is you don't have to get up at 4 a.m. or some such nonsense, as most of these deals run all weekend.
