Alleged Leaked Doc Details Unannounced PlayStation Games

Unannounced PlayStation Games

A document has found its way across the internet that points to several unannounced PlayStation games. Unfortunately, PSX Extreme was unable to answer to its validity, but Gematsu, alleges they’ve fact-checked many of these games through their own sources.

The biggest leaks alleged that Guerrilla Games are in the works making a PS5 remaster to Horizon Zero Dawn and a multiplayer game based on the IP. Other games on the list, as per Insider Gaming allege Firesprite is working on a survival horror, which lines up to previous coverage earlier this year, nicknamed Heartbreak.

Sumo Digital is working on an open-world multiplayer under the working title Carbon. Lucid Games is working on a multiplayer vehicle combat game nicknamed Redstar, which is likely the working name for the next Twisted Metal entry, which is in the works at the studio. Kojima Productions is working on an open-world cryptically nicknamed Ocean.

Project Bates makes another appearance in this leak, but we already knew about this Ballistic Moon-PlayStation project already back in August.

London Studio is also working on a game as a service title under the nickname Camden. None of these have been properly announced and it’s all possible to be bogus, but much of it already had hints throughout the last year or so, so really, it’s not too hard to believe these unannounced PlayStation games are really the working titles.

Sackboy Celebrates The Spooky Season With New Free Skin

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

As the nights draw near and — for some — the temp drops, it seems Sackboy has a fun little gift for Sackboy: A Big Adventure owners. To give a bit of Halloween spirit to the title, fans can expect a spiffy and spooky new look for the game’s protagonist.

The new skin sees our hero donning a spooky makeover complete with a green complexion and ragged clothes. One thing that is certainly welcome, too, is that the new makeover is going to all players free of charge once it officially releases later this week.

The title has seen some pretty solid support over its lifetime, which is much needed following the cyberattack that led to past-gen LittleBigPlanet severs to shutter for good earlier this year.

Fans can get this new skin free of charge on October 29.

LittleBigPlanet Servers Shut Down Over New Cyberattack

LittleBigPlanet

If you’ve been following along, you’d know that LittleBigPlanet has not been having the best of times as of late. Now, it seems the game’s servers are being shuttered temporarily in the wake of new attacks displaying “offensive messaging” to its community.

Sony stopped short of confirming what kind of messages were displayed. But, they assured their community that they “do not take these attacks lightly,” especially when these attacks are aimed at its community.

This is far from the first LittleBigPlanet outage this year. Earlier in the year, fans saw Sony shutter the servers as they went about investigating some technical issues that turned out to be a DDoS attack.

They had to continue with the servers down for quite a while and only had them online here and there to test the security they put in place. With these new attacks tied to scripting as opposed to a DDoS attack, it’s hard to tell how long it will take to resolve this problem.

LittleBigPlanet Servers Offline Thanks To Reported DDOS Attack

LittleBigPlanet

It’s looking like LittleBigPlanet fans are having trouble connecting to the servers. While not explicitly said by Sony themselves, some reports point to the possibility that servers were shut down thanks to a DDOS attack.

On Friday, Sony confirmed they were working on investigating LittleBigPlanet servers shutting down. According to fans speaking with Eurogamer, this DDOS attack is orchestrated by a particularly unhappy LBP fan who doesn’t approve of the franchise’s direction.

On top of that, this individual might also be the reason behind LBP.me being offline since last year. The odd thing, though, is this hacker’s selection as Vita copies have yet to run into problems from this hacker.

This is all speculation and such, but it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.

What do you think? Is this whole thing a big DDOS attack or just regular “technical issues?” Tell us below!

Sackboy: A Big Adventure Online Multiplayer Is Now Available

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Sack up, everyone – Sackboy: A Big Adventure can now be played online with friends. Since launch, fans could enjoy the platformer with a buddy on the couch, but its online portion was delayed. Now, Sackboy’s developer, Sumo Digital, has announced you and your buds can enjoy the game together no matter what room you’re in.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure acted as a launch title for the PS5, releasing on November 12 and November 19 based on your region on both the current (PS4) and next-generation (PS5) consoles.

The game throws you into an adventure (dare we say a big adventure) and while you could complete the story on your own, it now allows you to play through the story with up to three buds online, as opposed to the single room approach available at launch. It isn’t just that, though, as 10 new multiplayer levels were added to commemorate this addition.

Oh and don’t worry, Sackboy: A Big Adventure supports cross-gen play, so you can still invite that bud that couldn’t coup a PS5.

What do you think? Are you going to hop online and play with your friends online? Tell us below!

Rumor: Sumo Digital Cranking Away On LittleBigPlanet 3

Ooh, I just thought of another potential PS4 launch title: LittleBigPlanet 3 . Gimme!

According to VG24/7 , it appears we can expect a new LittleBigPlanet offing, as it's apparently in development at British studio Sumo Digital ( Dead Space Ignition ).

It seems the game has been in the works for "well over a year" and although we're not certain of the platforms just yet, we know it's headed to the PlayStation world. Sumo Digital isn't a perfect stranger to the revered franchise, as the team made the cross-controller patch for LBP2, which let players use the Vita to control the game on the PS3. If LBP3 is really coming, this means it'll actually be the sixth installment; you can't forget the PSP and Vita iterations, as well as last year's LittleBigPlanet Karting .

Who's up for more Sackboy fun?
