Yomawari: Night Alone Comes To PlayStation Vita And PC On October 25

NIS America announced on Thursday that it will release the Yomawari: Night Alone horror game on PlayStation Vita in North America on October 25 and Europe on October 28. The game will be available on PlayStation Vita both physically and digitally. In addition the company confirmed that it will release a PC version via Steam on October 25 worldwide.

Both versions of the game will have their own special release editions. On the PlayStation Vita, people can get standard or limited editions of Yomawari: Night Alone. The $39.99 standard edition of the game will come with both Yomawari: Night Alone and The Firefly Diary. The NIS America Online Store is also selling a $59.99 limited edition that includes both games, the 12-page Yomawari art book, the 36-page art book, a soundtrack with music from both games, and a Yomawari heat changing tumbler.

The Steam version of Yomawari: Night Alone only offers people a copy of Yomawari. It’s $19.99 for a standard version of the game. However, a $19.99 Pitch Dark Edition is available to pre-order and includes a digital art book and soundtrack. You can check out the Windows PC system requirements for Yomawari: Night Alone below.

In Yomawari: Night Alone, players take on the role of a little girl who loses her dog. Her older sister goes out to find the dog but doesn't return. Left alone, the little girl sets out into the dark alone to find them both. But "fears" lurk in the dark. The game features a unique blend of survival horror with stealth action gameplay. Along the way, you will find all sorts of objects from keys to slippers to cat biscuits, some of them vital to solving the mystery of the town and its eerie inhabitants at night, while others useful to distract evil spirits when they attack. As the story unfolds, more answers will lead to more questions, and the open-world environment of Yomawari: Night Alone allows for maximum freedom to wander anywhere at almost any time. But remember that everything has eyes and ears.

I'll definitely try this game in October. It feels fun and exciting to play horror/suspense games during the Halloween season. Last year's Halloween, I remember playing Until Dawn on my PS4. The story of that game was excellent. I hope that the story and gameplay of Yomawari: Night Alone will also be great. How about you guys? Will you be getting the game this coming Halloween?
