The latest, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark , is headed to consoles on June 24, and there's even a special portable version for the 3DS, in development at WayForward.
Edge of Reality is the team behind the console iterations and honestly, the production appears to be quite polished. Check out the latest gameplay trailer, loaded with plenty of epic confrontations between very large robots. As you might expect, the game will feature a boatload of action, and players will have the opportunity to assume the roles of both the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Never played one. Haven't cared for transformers since I was like 5 and watched and played with the Transformer animals… I forget their names though. Looks cool though.
Beast Wars?
I'm bothered by the more Michael Bay movie-inspired portrayal this new game has. I liked the look and feel of the past two games that seemed more likened to sort of toys I grew up with.

I have never played a Transformer game, but I was interested in War for Cybertron a few years back.
This one looks intense, but I think I'll save my money again for the major releases.
