PlayStation Plus Is 10 Years Old Today, Sony Has Given Away 1,000 Titles

It’s been 10 years since PlayStation Plus launched. In that time, apparently, they’ve “given away” 1,000 titles for free. Per a graphic via Sony’s recent blog post, announcing both the free games of July as well as commemorating its 10-year history.

The Japanese giant will also be releasing a free theme to commemorate the occasion. One of the first-ever titles given away through the service was Wipeout HD. They then introduced the monthly free games in mid-2012 and offered a grand total of 64 games in its first year.

As of April, they’ve given out 1,000 titles via PlayStation Plus, according to the chart.
