Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerIt’s been 10 years since PlayStation Plus launched. In that time, apparently, they’ve “given away” 1,000 titles for free. Per a graphic via Sony’s recent blog post, announcing both the free games of July as well as commemorating its 10-year history.
The Japanese giant will also be releasing a free theme to commemorate the occasion. One of the first-ever titles given away through the service was Wipeout HD. They then introduced the monthly free games in mid-2012 and offered a grand total of 64 games in its first year.
As of April, they’ve given out 1,000 titles via PlayStation Plus, according to the chart.
