Aaron ThomasWell, it's not the huge leap forward everyone was hoping for, but Sony is coming out with a longer lasting batter for the PSP. Battery life is expected to be about 20% longer, so if you normally get between 4-6 hours of battery life, you'll see an extra 48-72 minutes.
There's no word on whether or not the new battery will be included in PSP's manufactured from this point on, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see that happen. The new battery will be released later this month in Japan (for around $46), and while a US release hasn't been announced, it's just a matter of time before we get it.
