I have no idea if this game is going to be any good. I have a lot of faith in the developers and writer/director James Gunn but who knows? However, I have to say, I always think I've seen it all when it comes to video games, and then something like this comes along and puts a smile on my face. Why? Not sure. Just because it's unabashed and over-the-top, I guess.

Dunno if I'll be getting this though, my calender and backlog of games is really starting to pile up. Never thought there'd be a time when there's more quality games than there is time to play them. This is both a good and bad thing.

This does not qualify as a disc worthy game. This should be up for $15 on the PSN which I would be fine with and wouldn't give it a second thought. If knowing the difference of worth between this and a game like Uncharted is indoctrinated… then so be it.
How do you have any clue what it should be? Have you seen gameplay? Seems to me that just because you don't like it, it should be ignored and relegated to the ranks of the downloadable.
It's a full 3D action title. Based on the peeks of combat seen here and the early details, of course it's a normal-sized game. The only difference between this and what we've seen of DMC is the style and character.

I stand by the fact that it doesn't SEEM (search seem if you aren't familiar with the word) to be worth a full price tag. It's an over used and saturated genre (Over the top Zombie slayer) but then again so are FPSs.
How many over the top zombie slayer games have there been this gen?

Saying you can't believe anybody would pay $60 for the game, and saying it should be downloadable at best, is of course an insult to the game. That's what you call "ragging" on it.

Im not indoctrinated because I think the game will be crap. I couldn't care less if a Japanese man or an American man the game, the point is this is a ridiculous idea for a game. I would have agreed that it was your opinion and be done with it but you mentioned Duke Nukem. That game was horrible and you said over the top? Seems you haven't played Shadows of the Damned made by the same creator. That game is over the top and has sold fairly well.
If it has the same type of humor as Shadows of the Damned then this game is surely a D1P for me. Definitely worth the $60 purchase.

Dunno perhaps got problems with his gf and direct his stress at us.
I think these situations could all be rather easily avoided if we were all just a *little* less confrontal. More often than not the focus of these kind of "discussions" turn more into what we did or did not call each other and new ways of insulting the other more than actually discussing the topic.
It all started with him saying that this looks more like a low budget game than a full price boxed release. In itself a view I can relate to. None of us know if this indeed *is* going to be worthy of a full price release, so one view is just as legit as the other.
… But then the lecturing starts. I really, really think a less confrontal tone would be wise.

After the huge disappointment of Alice this year I have lost all will to predict anything regarding new games with sexy heroines as the main focus. If Alice did not pull it off then how the heck can this game be worth anything.
I shall read the reviews, and this game shall be bought if it achieve a metarating of 80+. Simple as that.
But damnit, we need a quality BABE game now!
