For instance, speedrunner Kahmul78 previously managed to take down the infamously difficult game in just over 50 minutes. Now, however, he's found a way to break the 50-minute mark, coming at 49:55 . Yep, a new strategy shaved off 35 seconds and his only response is: "This record will be beaten very soon." As far as anyone knows, this is the world record for the fastest Dark Souls speedrun.
