Time for another TMNT romp!
Activision has announced a new side-scrolling action/adventure title, currently in development at WayForward: It's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze , and it's heading to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 an Nintendo 3DS this fall.
Bridging the gap between Seasons 2 and 3 of Nickelodeon's popular TMNT cartoon, this new quest will boast classic 2D fighting and platforming, along with 3D art direction taken straight from the TV series. Players will enjoy new locations, allies and enemies, as we'll have to deal with the likes of Shredder, Tiger Claw, and a new army of mutants. According to the press release, the game's stand-out feature is its "vast, interconnected, non-linear game world, which rewards exploration and creative thinking."
Take advantage of a wide variety of powers, upgrades and equipment scattered across the streets of New York, and don't forget that players can switch to any of the four Turtles on the fly. Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael each have specific strengths and skill-sets, too. Sounds like a great little game to pass the time on a rainy day!
