Aaron ThomasNext-Gen.biz has confirmed that the PlayStation 3 will indeed ship with a hard drive included, and
there will be no "split sku" with one version of the system shipping with a hard
drive and another without. Yahoo Games UK had been reporting that system would
include a 60GB hard drive, but as with everything PS3, it's always best to hear
it straight from the horse's mouth.
"We [SCEE] didn't confirm it, but it was confirmed at the media briefing by Ken
Kutaragi. It's a fully upgradeable, 60 gig hard drive that will come
pre-packaged with the system." said a Sony spokesperson to Next-Gen.biz.
There's one less mystery to the PlayStation 3. Now we just need to find out how
much it's going to cost so we can start saving.
