Woo-hoo!
The Kickstarter campaign for Keiji Inafune's brainchild, Mighty No. 9 , has been doing very well, and it has hit yet another significant stretch goal.
The latest is a big deal for console owners: The campaign has passed the $2.2 million mark, which means the anticipated Mega Man -like side-scroller is headed to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. Currently, Mighty No. 9 has nabbed $2,258,718 from 39,485 backers and those numbers will continue to grow until the campaign ends 13 days from now. If they can bring in $3.3 million (and that seems likely), the title will also be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
We could definitely use a game like this, don't you think?

Wow, people really want their Megaman fix.
Maybe Capcom will come to rue letting Keiji slip the net.
Whatever that screenshot is, it does look pretty fun and visually appealing.
Shows how much faith Capcom lost and how much fans
miss Megaman.
I am a Megaman fanboy. I loved all the Megaman games, ESPECIALLY the Legends games. I cannot wait to see this game and I WILL have it. Actually donated a few bucks to the cause. I will wait and get the ps3 version.
as ive always said, NEVER underestimate the power of nostalgia!
just goes to show how many people are out there who miss the old days.
makes me wonder what would happen if we actually saw sequels, or even just HD re releases, to old classics.
imagine a day where we saw HD remakes of crash bandicoot 1-bash, spyro 1-3, J&D 1-2, gex 1-2, pandemonium 1-2, ape escape 1-3, RE 1-3, GTA 1-SA, ect, ect.
the world would go apeshit!

That is very true (the power of nostalgia). Some people donated $10,000 for dinner with keiji inafune. You should check out the video he put up on his kickstarter page, I was reaching for my card subconsciously while watching it.
it cud be a cool addition to the ps4 library
happy gaming =)
hey well if it isn't John!
Wow, Mega Man on steroids!!! I am hoping they reach the Vita stretch goal. This game would really shine on the Vita as well as the PS4.
