Hideo Kojima is preparing to show off a new trailer for the hotly anticipated title at E3 in only a few weeks time. And although his hints have been translated, we get the gist of what he's trying to say.
According to MetalGearSolid.nl , the MGS guru isn't interested in bombarding our senses with flashy scenes, so we can't expect crazy explosions and things like that. What we can expect in the trailer is a "combination of lyrics, music, visuals, dialogue and titles," and it will portray the underlying theme in the game. Past themes were GENE (original MGS), MEME (MGS2), SCENE (MGS3), SENSE (MGS4) and PEACE ( Peace Walker ). What might it be in MGSV…?
Kojima also recently said he'd have gameplay to show us at E3. We're not sure if this is the trailer he's referencing, or if we'll get two separate videos; one cinematic, one gameplay-oriented. Well, either way, we just wanna see it. And the more the better.

I think it would be better potraiyed as a MGS trailer if it was an hour long cutscene. (MGS3 is pretty epic.)

eh, i just hope this time his trailer actually shows something.
miss the good old days where trailers were used to release information about something, rather than a flash of confusing poorly placed images.

that would be pretty redundant when they have already shown it off, no?

I am just happy to have it confirmed that we will be getting some new light on the project very soon. Really cannot wait to see what is announced. If I were to ask of anything it would be a trailer focusing on the gameplay. As of now we have really only seen the introduction to Phantom Pain, it would be nice to get a solid idea of the new open world gameplay mechanics. But the jewel of information would be a release date, but we'll see.

This reeks of the "ol' bait and switch"…
…especially so, considering Kojima's track record.
