Didn’t Get All The Games You Wanted? Check GameStop’s Sales

So let's say Santa didn't bring you everything you asked for. Well, that just means you'll have to take advantage of some post-Christmas sales.

There have been plenty of deals and steals at GameStop throughout this holiday season, and a few more are still in the works. Check out the latest ; it runs through Saturday and allows you to get a few of the year's biggest games for a discount. Gotta save some bucks!

Assassin's Creed III and Halo 4 can be had for $39.99, while Call of Duty: Black Ops II has been marked down to $49.99. One of the most entertaining and accomplished titles just recently released, Far Cry 3 , is also $49.99, and the very solid Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is only $29.99. Plus, you can snag the Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition PlayStation 3 bundle for $269.99, and the retailer will toss you $30 off on NBA 2K13 whenever you buy a new PS3.

Lastly, GameStop is running a buy two, get one free sale on all used Wii and DS games. No, we don't cover Nintendo but we're all gamers, and we imagine some of our readers could use that knowledge. 🙂

I went into Gamestop on St.Stephen's Day (Day after Christmas Day) and their sales here were absolute dire. Usually I walk out with shed-loads of games but I ended up just picking up a second hand copy of Brothers in Arms:Hells Highway for €8, which was a steal, especially compared to it's ridiculously over-priced (the game is out years now) €20 price tag on PS Store. Very disappointing.

And they had a buy two games get another one from a list they had of games for free and all the games were out of date Fifa games, or games they'd been stuck with for years and couldn't shift.

And if anyone's looking for some good deals all year round, get your butts over to the forums.

There's a frequently updated thread there.

There's lots of video game sales here in Canada for Boxing Day but good luck finding a parking spot. The stores near my brother's house are packed even for the many middling deals I see. I sometimes think people buy for the sake of buying, something we're all guilty of in various degrees.

Yeah I didn't think a game marked down to 49.99 was a deal but then again I don't know what you guys pay for games. Gamestop has been less than impressive this year.

i was in EB today, which is basically gamestop under a fake name, when i heard this mom asking her son if he really needed this call of duty. isnt this call of duty the same thing as that call of duty she asked him. dont you only need one shooter she says. i was laughing to myself. funny thing, he was actually old enough to be playing the game.

they had a deal where if you bought a used move controller you got one free. thats about the only reason i was in there and when i didnt see any used ones i left. maybe ill check another store.

Back in the day when I didn't value money as much I woulda bought AC3 on day 1. Now when I think about all the DLC to purchase, it seems to give me pause. I even see 40 being too much to pay. My life has become sad. Gotta hold out for another drop of 10 or 15. Won't be long 🙂

almost had a heart attack today, went into EB to see they had most of their sales prices better than everyone else!
shock of horrors!
EB is normally by far the most expensive stores to go to, normally JB, bigw, target, game, ect, ect are much cheaper.
nice to see they still havent totally lost the tallent of ripping you off, traded in epic mickey 2 and nintendoland and only got 40 bucks!
WTF!?
both games depreciated 60 bucks in 12 days did they?
bet there on the shelf right now for 50 each.
