Damn Rayman keeps getting in the way! Okay, that isn't fair; Rayman is good stuff.
But still, those looking forward to the long -awaited Beyond Good & Evil sequel should know that creator Michel Ancel's focus is currently on games like Rayman Legends , which, according to Polygon , is "slowing development" on BG&E2.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot gave us the following update:
"What's very important is that Michel Ancel is kind of doing too many things at the same time. He was working on Rayman Origins last year, and he's working a lot on Rayman Legends this year. So, you know, when he does that, he kind of puts too much of his time on the other projects that he has."
That being said, Guillemot added that Ancel and Ubisoft "are committed to bringing Beyond Good & Evil 2 to market." He said it's definitely a game they "want to do" but for now, it's obviously on the back burner. This will once again prompt the theory that the sequel will be produced for next-generation hardware, which we wouldn't mind…it's just that this wait is kinda agonizing . If you haven't yet, make sure to give Beyond Good & Evil HD a try. it's pretty sweet.

As long as it gets here eventually……
My advice to Ancel and Ubisoft would be,
Sometimes you just got to know when to "sh*t or get off the pot".
So let's get BG&E2 fully kick-started again!
That's a shame, I haven't care about Rayman since I got it for my Jaguar. Beyond is a much better product to put support behind. Does anyone even buy Rayman anymore?
I do! And they are great! If I had a Vita I'd most definitely buy the Vita Rayman too.

Well that's good someone does, I can't say I hear a lot about the franchise anymore.
as much as i enjoyed rayman origins and am looking forward to ledgends i gotta say this should be the last for a while.
we NEED BG&E2!
once thats out then id love to see ancel work on a new 3D rayman!
yes 3D, im bored and sick of the origins style now!
think about it, rayman origins artistic flair but in a open 3D world!
