If you're a fan of medieval multiplayer action – and in our hearts of hearts, I think we all are – you'll want to check out ACQUIRE's latest.
As NIS America just announced , Clan of Champions will hit the PlayStation Network this summer. It will also be available on Steam later this year, but the Xbox 360 Arcade version, which was originally confirmed, has been canceled.
Clan of Champions features multiplayer action and "a variety of combat-based missions." You will select one of three classes (human, elf, or orc) and while you do have the option of playing by yourself, it will doubtless be more entertaining with a couple buddies in co-op mode. There's also a 3-on-3 team battle mode, which ought to be good for relieving a little stress. With great customization options, "dynamic warfare" (stealing an enemy's armor for your own use sounds awesome), and the opportunity to master individual weapon types, this one could be a big-time digital winner.
If you weren't already aware, ACQUIRE is the developer that gave you Tenchu . Even though this new one isn't about stealth, I still have to say…I loved the Tenchu games.

Champions.
I reckon this has potential – something a bit different for the online MP thing. Gotta wait and see how the gameplay pans out, like any game, but fingers crossed it goes well :).
