Ben-DutkaAn excited Resistance fan sent us a link this morning that rekindled our deep-set love of Insomniac's franchise.
Head on over to the French branch of Amazon , where you will find a listing for the Resistance Trilogy.
The apparent release date is May 16 and the price is €59.99, which means gamers here in North America might be able to anticipate a slightly earlier date (perhaps May 13) and a standard price tag of $59.99. As for what's included in the package, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out; it will feature the three Resistance installments on the PlayStation 3, all of which released to significant critical acclaim, even if they all didn't exactly burn up the sales charts.
If you missed out on maybe two or more of these games, and you've always wanted to finish up the franchise, this could be perfect. Of course, we have to wait for Sony to confirm this Trilogy for US shores but it seems almost inevitable that such an announcement is forthcoming.
it makes me sad that insomniac isn't gonna continue with this AWESOME franchise 🙁

Resistance 3 was Beyond Epic.Only FPS Experience I loved.

I agree, they left the series on a good note, and great ending. Now they can focus on something else that will be even better!
R3 let them out on a good not for sure. I was a little disappointed in the ending though. I was expecting a tad bit more but it at least ended the series
I already own all 3 so I'm afraid this bundle won't be for me. The only way I might think about it is if they re-released all 3 with Move compatibility. I had a blast playing through the campaign in R3 with the Sharpshooter. I'd love to go back through them all that way. Doubt that will happen though…

I had all 3 but only have R3 now..I can go get R2 at any time..any who hasn't played any of the Resistance series needs to pick this up

Hell Yeah! I would love to platinum Resistance 1.
Just beat Mass Effect 3 and going to either do Resistance 2 or Uncharted 3 MP. I really would like to be done with Resistance by the time Burning Skies comes out. Burning Skies is a D1P! Insomniac really is a great dev. Sad to know there will be no Resistance 4. Hopefully it gets resurrected on the PS4 later on down the road. Also, I hope this Trilogy Pack sells in the millions!

I would love them to go back into R:FOM and update the controls, using R3 to ironsight just isn't ideal anymore and of course trophies. If they can do it for old PS2 games they can do it for this one, so no excuses Insomniac.
Good idea, whatever the haters say Resistance has been an iconic PS3 franchise of high order. Hopefully it can help make up for the low sales of R3 (which was utterly baffling).
the bad RE3 sales imo was the cause of a bad release date. it got pushed to the
side because of cod and bf3.
R3 was a really fun game but the online issues and framerate problems and rather average cookie cutter feel made the game forgettable. Still $60 for all three is a super steal of a deal. I cant see why anyone who hasnt played any resistance games cant pick this up. Its obviously worth EVERY penny for $59.99.

its the perfect way to get new fans to try out a series as long as its at a budget price.
a listing has been found for a uncharted bundle as well.
i wish $ony would do one for R&C too, one series that really deserves more sales, and recognition!
speaking of R&C $onys delayed the collection again till june.
