It's a big deal for all avid fighting fans and it got a lot of attention for only being available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
But that obviously wasn't enough to pique the curiosity of our readers at PSXE. Either that, or we just don't have a lot of hardcore fighting followers around.
According to the results of our most recent poll, the majority of participants have no interest in getting Street Fighter V . In our review, we said the gameplay was mostly top-notch but the lack of content and features was just frustrating and in some cases, unforgivable. There were also some performance and online issues Capcom had to fix after the game released, which got lots of headlines. It just seems like too many gamers were turned off of SFV even before the title was actually available, you know?
But what about this week? We're getting two potentially fun – but drastically different – games: Far Cry Primal and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 . You up for both? Just one or the other? Neither? To help your decision, be sure to check out Ubisoft's recent info for Primal and our thoughts on the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 beta .

Street Fighter V is probably the best playing SF Capcom have done but like many have said there's not much else in the game at the moment.
I played a handful of online matches which were great fun, after that i tried story which is a four-fight battle (two fights only for some characters)with uninteresting anime style stills between each fight. Worst of all though is you can't choose the difficulty setting or round count, by default story mode seems set on easy and you can breeze through each fighters story within a few minutes.
Survival mode is pretty good though as you get to choose the difficulty setting and after each fight you can choose which area to upgrade your fighter before the next round which adds some strategy.
Overall i can understand the lack of excitement for the game, because as of right now there just isn't much to do unless you're a tournament player preparing for EVO or an online-only type of player.
And why does Ken look like he has banana peels draped over his head?
Dunno why anyone would want to play around with plants in a game.
I'm not really into fight games or PvZ, but I'd most def' be getting FC: Primal ASAP if I had the bucks.
MKX is still the only fighter I need right now.
No interest in PvZ, at least not the shooter version. I will get Primal at some point, but i need to play some of the games I still have in shrink wrap first. I'm surprised more people aren't interested in Primal. I think it looks really good, but I haven't played a FC since 2.
I bought Street Fighter V at launch… & I just couldn't stand it! Not just for the bare content, I get the structure and was willing to go along with it if Capcom stuk to their guns and made everything available with Fight-Money. I simply did not enjoy the mechanics of the game and I actually felt bad owning it, so I sold it, luckily as I got the Steelbook Edition I manages to get my money back. I may invest in itat a later date, but I really wasn't impressed with what I played.
I went back to play Street Fighter IV on PS3 & instantly found myself enjoying it again, sadly there is no physical version of Ultra on PS4 🙁
Sorry to hear man, you're meant to be improving with us along this slow period.
Look forward to having you back.
And SF4/USF4 on PS3 is nothing short of a cancer.
Find it weird you think mechanic wise SFIV is better then V, you're the first person I saw say that.
Well SF isn't for everyone. It is a thing based on violence.
Wait — doesn't that mean it's for everyone?
For people like me? Can't wait to play it for the next 5+ years. SF4 lasted almost 7 years, man – peaking more and more TOWARDS the end.
Neither for me.
SF V is a great fighter. I'm not sure that it is going to pull new gamers in or gamers who have trouble adapting to new mechanics. It is the same story every time a new SF is released though. Always the bunch who doesn't like the mechanics or how one their characters looks etc etc etc etc (This could have a lot of etcs). This has been happening for more than 25 years. I will admit though that it does feel light in content. The lack of the arcade mode is particularly glaring. In addition, the netcode seems to need some work. Still, and there may be exceptions to the rule, I can't recall much games that didn't have online shenanigans upon launch.
They both look incredibly boring and I wouldnt even play them for free.
So I managed to pick it up a bit cheaper than full price. So far I think it's great. I agree it lacks content but didn't capcom make this clear before release? That they would essentially release the backbone of the game and add on and tweak it through updates as time goes on? I'm pretty sure once all the content is finally realized all the complaining will have been for nothing.
My only gripe is some of the move sets for the characters have left me wanting. I'm not sure this is something they can change through updates without screwing up the balancing. I hope I am wrong.
