Could be the perfect addition to your home entertainment setup.
Although it hasn't been formally announced, game accessories manufacturer PDP has designed an officially licensed PlayStation 4 media remote, which should go on sale later this year.
This Amazon listing says the price will be $30 and it has a current release date of October 31, 2015 (likely a placeholder). This remote provides wireless control via Bluetooth for up to four devices, including your PS4, TV, set-top box and audio receiver. It even sports PS4-specific buttons that make it similar to the DualShock 4 controller.
Battery life with two AAA batteries comes in at about six months with normal use (which seems low to me), but it's a slick-looking remote. Besides, Sony hasn't announced any plans to make a media remote for PS4, as they did with PS3, and PDP is an officially licensed product. Maybe you should spring for it this fall.
This is probably due to the fact that Sony is treating the PS4 purely as a gaming device whereas the PS3 was treated more as a media one. In any case, goddamit Sony…
So true @ Cesar_ser_4 . I'm going to cop me of of these. Sony ain't making 'em.
well i will abmit it does looks pritt cool with the playstation specific buttons on it i wouldn't mind one tbh it would be cool having a remote with the special playstation buttons on it adds a little somethig to it don't you think.
happy gaming
