Ubisoft will run a PC-only closed beta and then after that, they'll bring the test to all platforms, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The beta will offer more polish and content as opposed to the alpha (and it should), and if you want a spot in the beta, simply pre-order the title. You can check out some leaked gameplay if you wish, and here's the statement on the franchise's official blog :
"The Closed Alpha and the Closed Beta will help us to build a stable experience and to playtest game elements on a very large scale. Whether you're testing early on PC during the closed alpha, or helping us validate the experience once we open on all platforms, we’re looking forward to interacting with you and working together to make Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege the best it can be at launch."
Now, if you've already pre-ordered, you'll get a beta code before the game releases. This bad boy could be a legit diamond in the rough, provided the developers deliver on their promises…

All I wanna know is: will this game feature Terrorist Hunt mode w/ character customization like rainbow six Vegas 1 & 2 did? That mode was loads of fun. That's all they have to say to have me pre-order!
