Ben-DutkaReleasing upgraded versions of previous games is a definite trend right now.
Perhaps the latest to receive the "definitive" treatment is Quantic Dream's PlayStation 3 exclusive title, Beyond: Two Souls .
As reported by IGN , a Director's Cut version of the game popped up on two German retail sites (even though the listings have since been removed), and Exophase has posted up a Trophy list, too. Lots of evidence that an updated version of the game in question is heading to the PS4.
If you're going to do this, pick Heavy Rain instead. It was just better.

Beyond is a strange game to port. I mean, it was widely accept to be the lesser of Quantic Dream's games.
These QD games just don't interest me at all. I hope it wasn't too much dev focus to bring this game to PS4, those resources would have been better spent on a new game.
Perhaps they are hoping that the PS4's lack of games at the moment will mean Beyond will look more attractive to new Playstation owners.
I knew Beyond is coming. Im holding back even the $20 ps3 game for the ps4 version. Not sure that was a good choice on sonys side
The game was Beyond boring imo. Heavy Rain was definitely David Cage's highlight. Give that the PS4 treatment instead with the taxidermist DLC thrown in.
The definitive edition should include Ellen Page nude and..wait thats right she came out as a les..oh nevermind then.
Oh please do this, and fix the gameplay. I loved this one quite a bit, but the gameplay was a definite put off.
Not necessary. I mean it made sense for Naughty Dog to port The Last of Us since there were millions of potential buyers who hadn't had the chance to play one of the best received games of the last gen but what's the rationale here? Heavy Rain would definitely have been the smarter choice.

$ony shouldnt of called this the ps4, they should of called it the NBLGRS, short for nothing but last gen remasters!
because thats all were getting, f*cking remasters of old last gen games!
who wants a brand new experience from QD, and actually a half decent one not like that sh*t beyond is, when they could play the same game they already played, or could on a ps3, just on a new console!
understandable developers are still getting to grips with the new system, but $ony SERIOUSLY needs to come out and start showing off some new IPs that WWS is working on otherwise there going to loose allot of customers!
people bought the ps4 for new amazing experiences, not so they can replay what they can on ps3!
im sorry $ony but re releasing ps3 games does not make your exclusive lineup look any less pathetic!

Well technically Sony has remastered TLoU and this one if it comes out… All the other games have been 3rd parties that even xbox recieved… Metro, sleeping dogs, tomb raider,GTA5, etc… Besides this game came out almost when PS4 came out and a lot of ppl were selling there systems or skipping buying games altogether to save up for the PS4 so it makes sense to release it on the PS4… And like i said its only the second game Sony remasters and no i dont count journey and the Swan game being redone on PS4 bc they are PSN games and not really considered AAA titles

it was a massive flop, hell among one of THE biggest disappointments of last gen!
especially after the amazing experience heavy rain was!
Well yea it was considered a AAA title but i wouldnt kno if its a good game or bad bc i never played it but i hear a lot of ppl say its a great game… Like i said it came out around PS4s release and a lot of ppl skipped out on this game bc of that myself included… Beyond two souls still managed to sell over 1 million copies but Sony realized that a lot of ppl skipped out in this experience bc of PS4 so thats why its being remastered
I'm not going to argue about Heavy Rain being better or not bc i havent played Beyond… Although i must admit Heavy was a great game… I even played it to get all the diffrent endings… And Heavy Rain did sell around 3.5 million so Sony is probably giving Beyond a chance to sell as much

I seem to be one of the relative few who love this game. I hope it does come to PlayStation 4, but more than anything, I hope a new scene or some scenes are added to it.
I really liked it too, just not heavy rain material

Good game not great. Heavy Rain simply better like Ben said.
I started playing it a few days ago. The story is interesting, but I hate the controls.
again who wants this game on ps4 i see no one
