Ryan HartmannIt’s hard to go more than a few days without Epic Games releasing a new feature or running event for their smash hit, Fortnite. It’s part of the game’s charm, never knowing what to expect next, but this newest teased feature is slightly different as it looks to (perhaps) drastically change one of the fundamental aspects of the game – building. Typically, players must harvest resources to use as makeshift structures, but a new item, labeled “coming soon”, looks to change all that.
The new Port-a-Fort offers to instantly drop a “quick defensive position upon impact”. When this particular piece of gear will drop, and how much it will affect the overall structure of the game, is not yet known, but teased updates like this usually come within a week.
