The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be available on November 8, and die-hard fans all over the country are waiting to add this bad boy to their libraries. But the true fans are gonna want the Limited Edition package .
The bundle features both MGS2 and MGS3 redone in glorious high-definition, as well as Peace Walker , originally released for the PSP. Those willing to pony up the extra cash for the Limited Edition will also receive a huge 248-page art book and special packaging illustrated by lead artist Yoji Shinkawa. We just don't know how much extra gamers will have to pay; Konami hasn't released a price for the LE just yet.
If you pick up either the standard or Limited Edition, you'll be able to sample the new "transfarring" feature, which lets gamers play one of the titles on both the PS3 and PSP thanks to the wireless transferring of save files. Take MGS with you wherever you go!

Too bad I don't have a lot of money to pony up for this limited edition. If there's anything else limited right now, it's my funds!! There's just too many great games coming out this Fall that I don't know if I even have enough money to buy all of them. Still though, this LE looks great!
Sigh, I really wish I didn't buy the ps2 bundle when it was out at this point, makes me feel redundant if I buy this hd collection…

I guess I'm not a true fan. Art books and special packaging are super unappealing to me. But good news for those that like that stuff.

Metal Gear Solid got me into PlayStation and it's what kept with it in this MP-centric generation of video games. I've bought every edition of the series since the very first MGS (hell, I even own a GameCube just for The Twin Snakes) so this is easily a Day 1 one for me. Long live Kojima! 😉
