Sony Announces Updated PSP Entertainment Pack

If the recent price drop wasn't enough of an incentive, Sony has added yet another reason to pick up the PSP: according to IGN , Sony will introduce another version of the 2GB Memory Stick Entertainment Pack. This updated version will include the installer DVD loaded with some hugely popular movies; "Spider-Man 2," "Hellboy," "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," and "S.W.A.T."

If you're not familiar with the installer DVD, the process is relatively simple. You load it up on your PC, access the complimentary unlock code, and choose one of the four Sony movies to transfer from the DVD to the Memory Stick. Once the transfer is complete, you can then view the film on your PSP.

If you're interested in the new bundle, the Memory Stick Entertainment Packs can be purchased for about $60 onine at SonyStyle.com (or at any one of their retail outlets), and at "authorized dealers nationwide." UMD movies might not be the most popular things on earth right now, but this is the kind of addition that should intrigue PSP owners who just so happen to be big movie fans.
