Oh, all right, we'll stop being so negative. As seen at Kotaku , Sony is showing off a range of rainbow colors for their upcoming new portable.
We've got the blue one pictured here, and there's also yellow, red, gold, and green. Of course, it's too early to say whether or not US or European gamers will get a shot at anything besides standard black, but maybe if there's enough clamor for cosmetic choices… Nah, we're not saying you should start a petition, but Sony should definitely take notice of other regions when it comes to hardware appeal. What color Vita would you like to have?
Maybe with the "transfarring" feature, you should have a matching PS3/Vita set. Wouldn't it be damn sweet to market same-colored PS3s and Vitas together in one alluring package?
Those colours range from glossy red to sky blue to what I can only describe as "Pimp's Coinpurse Gold". The two that look identical in colour in the gallery above actually are two different models, one white, the other a light blue (the cabinet's VERY BLUE lighting drowning out the very classy white model).
Hopefully these colors show up in the US I we want different color systems too.

I rather liked the blue one but not a big fan of the rest. I'm probably a minority, but I like my gadgets black with trims of chrome/silver. They might look boring to some but they look sleek and sophisticated to me.
I like em that way too, they look best in the entertainment center. But I'd like options for a second machine ya know?
Brushed Aluminum PS Vita for me but that's not going to happen.
The lighting of the case makes it impossible for me to say which one looks good. But, if the red is anything like the Kratos edition special edition PSP, that will probably be the route I go. Maybe the white, if it's a classy ivory, but without a black option, it will likely be the red.
I am thinking a darker crimson would be very hot.
I really like black so I'm good. But really, Sony needs to realize western markets like other colors too.

id love to see a really dark midnight blue one.
or maybe even a bright orange.
white so far looks the best though, for some reason i always use to hate white and prefer black but ever since i got a white iphone 4 thats become the opposite.
I'd get sky blue, looks nice. Looks like it could blend in with an aquarium. That would be epic an marketing strategy.
I hope we at least get a silver PSV. The PSP's silver model was super slick.

I dont really know if i want it colored. The gold is too flashy, pink is out, id like a dark blue..not sky, an red might be the real only besides white/black. Iphones black, PS3s black, should just get the black vita i guess.
I actually don't even know what colors I would want my Vita to be. The colors that I like are; Silver, Gold, and Crimson Black. Maybe a mix of the colors on the vita in certain areas. O.o No idea.
Im importing mine forom the US anyway. UK prces are a rip compared to the US price!
If japan is cheaper and it doesnt come in japanese then i'll get it from there.
I say this, im not even sure if im getting one. Dont have time to play anymore and im saving all my cash for a new electric guitar, my end of year trip abroad before uni and… thats it. thats expensive stuff.

Black and Gold is how I role….. *SIGH* unfortunately we probably won't see half of those colors here in the US….
