If you're a fan, you'll be happy to know that Patapon 3 will launch on April 12. As detailed at the PlayStation Blog , this new installment will be available on UMD and as a digital download on the PSN; both versions will cost only $19.99. The victorious Patapons from the last entry have located a gigantic vessel, which holds "ancient magic." Fresh off their big victory and thinking they could handle what lay within, they broke the lock and BAM…they were all turned to stone. Well, all but one lucky soul: Hatapon, the flag bearer. So now you, the Mighty One, must "fuse your essence with a fallen soldier and create a brand new hero, the Uberhero Patapon!" If you sampled the open multiplayer beta last year, you'll know what to expect, but the development team has worked hard to implement upgrades and fixes. Featuring new characters and new online multiplayer adventures, this one should be lots of fun, and we'll be interested to see the final result.
