Perhaps you hadn't noticed, but the PSP has more than a few role-playing titles to satisfy your craving for quality, somewhat old-school RPGs.
One of the newest will come from Square-Enix. It's Lord of Arcana , and Square-Enix has just confirmed that it will arrive in North America on January 25. It'll be available in both standard UMD form and digital format on the PlayStation Network, and it'll boast solo and local co-op action for up to four players. You set out to find the Arcana stone, which is purported to be "the source of all order in the world," and many foes will stand in our way. It's sort of like Monster Hunter but as we're still waiting on Monster Hunter Portable 3rd – Capcom has yet to confirm that it'll launch outside of Japan – Lord of Arcana should be a worthy substitute. Featuring all sorts of quintessential action/RPG gameplay, this is one title that could really drain away your free hours. Handheld fans are well aware of what the PSP has delivered in the past; we're hoping for another gem.
Maybe you're planning to wait for the PSP2, though. There's yet more evidence to support the idea that developers already have their hands on dev kits…
