The Eye Of Judgment: Legends Hits PSP This Spring

Those card collectors and card battlers are still around – just ask the Bakugan fans – so you'll all be happy to know that The Eye of Judgment: Legends will be headed to your PSP in 2010.

As announced at the PlayStation Blog , this card-based title will be coming as a digital download to the PSN this spring, for play on Sony's portable unit. Collect, trade, and battle to your heart's content; with over 300 total cards (30 of which are new to the franchise) and the elimination of the PlayStation Eye as a requirement, Legends should be a niche hit. No need to hold up physical cards to the Eye as you did in the PS3 version; you simply collect the cards in this version by progressing in the game and winning them from friends and foes. You'll even be able to buy new cards on the PSN in the form of future DLC so once you have the game, keep checking the Store to see if you can add to your ever-growing collection. Obviously, the original gimmick involved the PS Eye, which may have been considered the primary selling point in comparison to other card-battle video games. But even without that feature, this is definitely a game that will appeal to a select group…the group that may still have a prized Pokemon collection hidden under their beds.

The PSP could certainly use more good releases in 2010 and while this isn't exactly a blockbuster like Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker , it should still play its role.

Hell, I never see any of the cards for sale at brick & motor stores. I guess it's online only.

And that's probably why Toys R Us discounted the 1st full game bundle, w/ the PS Eye & stand, cards & floor game-mat for only $19.95

It was great for me because I wasn't into the game itself, but was about to go buy a PS Eye.

So I wound up saving $30 on the PS Eye & just added the bonus game into my collection.

Yeah. I got the set for $20 off ebay. Booted up the game once, and then quickly turned it off. Never even set up a deck. It's just sitting there on my shelf now. Good price for the camera, though.

I got mine for 39/83 or something like that, but I hope that this will come with some sort of camera for the psp so it will be so cool.
