If you were one of many who very much enjoyed Sony's unveiling of the PSP Go at their E3 press conference, and you're already planning a Day 1 purchase, here's how to be proactive about your decision.
Amazon.com has you covered in all respects, and that includes the recent addition of two new accessories you can pre-order. But first, feel free to put your hard-earned money down on the Piano Black PSP Go (it's also available in Pearl White); if you weren't already aware, the retail cost will be $249.99. When you're done, you'll probably realize you need a few accessories – every handheld needs some bonus goodies to go along with it – so if you search around, you'll find the Cradle and Screen Protective Film. The PSP Go Cradle will cost you $29.99 and if you're anal about keeping your screen all shiny and spotless, you can pre-order a 2-pack of those Protective Films for $9.99. By the way, that $30 Cradle isn't simply for holding your system and presenting it all pretty-like to onlookers; it will charge your system, sync contents with your PC, and even feature a video-out option for viewing on a bigger screen. If you've forgotten already, the PSP Go is scheduled to launch in North America on October 1.
Some have complained about the price but considering what you get, and the fact that the original PSP was the exact same price (a system with far less capability), you shouldn't complain too much.
Sync contents with a PC? I wonder whether that implies some sort of productivity applications are included with the Go?

I wonder if it syncs like ipods, you can only sync from a certain program (ps store or that media manager thing) and all the files on the psp are locked and can only view them from the program. (Like itunes and iThings
I like that charging cradle.
I've decided to hold off on purchasing the PSP go theirs way to many games I want and i know i'll play my PS3 more at this point, we'll see once the system is released and they type of games that come out.
The cradle sounds cool though.
Eeemmm tempting.
Now if they can have it connect it to the sixaxis… I would preorder today! play psp games on my tv while it is cradled and charging?? Yeah, that would be sweet!!
i'm tempted to get this but i can't see myself payin 250 for it. i'll just stick with my original
I've got to say it is really tempting. If I didn't already have a psp, or if mine was to explode before October I would probably get one.
I'm sure I will get one, but it could be a while until it happens.
Off-topic, It's about 107 degrees outside and my face is melting.
you can connect the Dualshock 3.
same with the 3000
3 hour battery life. this thing only has a THREE HOUR BATTERY LIFE.
im getting me one,the only problem for me is the no removeable battery. But the good outweighs the bad here.
i have a psp 3000 there's not enough of a improvement for me to buy a psp go.
i bought my psp 300 not long ago yea the psp go looks so spectactualar and its $250 yadadadadada but its not gonna make me buy one and who cares about the second analog stick
i mean come on
ill buy a psp, when they put a second analog stick on it…..
wow, people need to stop complaining about a second analog stick. Personally id rather have the L2 and R2 buttons, but you dont hear me complaining about it. Some things needed to be cut for size reasons. How about we focus on how good the PSP is already.
