Sometimes, Square-Enix wants you to work for your loyalty. Or perhaps that's unfair; let's just say they're redefining the concept of a "Collectors Edition" with the "Dissidia Final Fantasy – Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Limited" package.
According to Final Fantasy Union, this is one PSP bundle that's going to be extraordinarily tough to nab. Sony announced this package a while back, but many just assumed Square-Enix would just put a limit to the number of bundles that got shipped to retailers. Instead, this one's going to be limited by time; the pre-order period will run from September 22 at 13:00 (Japanese time, supposedly) to September 28 (one minute before midnight). You must pre-order if you want a shot, but you also must be a "Square-Enix member." There will be a lottery to decide which applicants will receive the "Dissidia Final Fantasy – Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Limited" bundle; if you're selected, you'll receive an e-mail the week after the pre-order session has ended. Obviously, this won't be a walk in the park, so you had better have a few lucky stars in your galactic quadrant.
And yes, this will include the new PSP-3000 model in case you were wondering; Sony is already working to phase out the "old" PSP-2000, which won't be around much longer. Well, better is better, right?

how much is it going to be though?! god are they gonna take my money by that date and i have to wait 4-5 months to get my shipment? i don't want that =(
When is the release date?
Dec. 18 in Japan, a week before White Knight Chronicles. A busy week for the Importer in me.
I assume this is Japanese only like the Crisis Core Bundle?
Not even going to try. I'm still pissed I didnt get a crisis core psp
*sigh*
i'm getting a little tired of the incentives and gimmicks that have entered the game world…
Isn't it enough to make an extraordinary game and let it sell?
