When the original God of War took the world by storm on the PS2 back in 2005, we were treated to the single most accomplished and most engaging action game of the generation. The sequel rocked everyone's socks yet again last year, and God of War III for the PS3 is loosely scheduled for a 2009 release. But what about the PSP? Well, your time is nigh, handheld owners.
One of the most anticipated PSP titles of the year, God of War: Chains of Olympus has officially gone Gold in the US! The announcement popped up no the developer's official site, and reads-
"After two years of blood, sweat and tears our second game, God of War: Chains of Olympus has just gone GOLD in the United States. Congratulations to the entire team, what they’ve achieved with this game is a milestone for the PSP and, more importantly, for our company."
The game will hit store shelves on March 4, which is only three short weeks away. If you're a PSP owner, you absolutely must consider a purchase; it's guaranteed to be a must-buy. Well, provided the awesome GoW experience is equally amazing on a handheld, but we have complete faith in this development team. Chains of Olympus is gonna rock!
