Ben-DutkaWe still don't have any official information on the Hardened Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 , but maybe this will help.
It seems Wired has stumbled across an image that shows off the contents of that special edition. Apparently, this is for the European version, and it includes a one-year premium membership in the Call of Duty Elite initiative, which in turn grants you a "Founder" status label. This comes with an emblem, player card, camo, an an XP boost for your Elite clan.
Other standard bonuses apply: the steelbook case, new disc art, a PSN-exclusive theme or Xbox 360-exclusive "Special Ops Juggernaut" avatar outfit, and a field journal that stretches 100 pages in length. Now, this may be bogus or US gamers could get something very different, but it's always nice to check out the possibilities…

Call me a cheapass but I prefer to just own the game. Never been into these collectable bundles. It just ends up collecting dust.
Same here, also I don't like steel cases. I like all my game cases to be symmetrical.

Sounds pretty good, but unfortunately at $120 AUD, I'm gonna skip this Hardened Ed of CoD this time round.
Now that I've dicovered Ozgameshop.com, I can get MW3 for $65. Screw you EB, I'm going home… to order games online for half the price!! 😀
Some of these special edition titles are becoming absolutely hilarious.
I hate steel cases and the super high prices…collectors editions should come with the game…a dynamic theme and a 24-pack of coors light
The usual collector's editions aren't that expensive though. I usually don't go for them myself as they really arent that special, just some DLC thrown in with the case. I'm usually more interested in the real collector's editions such as the Gran Turismo Signature or the European Uncharted 3 edition.
lmaoo I could go for Blue Light, BudLight, or straight up Bud. Coors is on the back burner for awhile…drank it a TON first 3 years of college. So now im for anything but haha

just watched the deus ex making of video, really interesting to see the team grow and the game change over the development time.
