It has been the premier soccer simulator for the past several years, and you can bet EA Sports will deliver another great title this September.
Less than a month after Madden NFL 12 satisfies the pigskin fans on August 30, FIFA 12 will launch on September 27 . The game will be ready to go for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii, 3DS, PC, and iOS…yeah, just about every platform imaginable, as is the case with most EA Sports productions. The publisher did want to make one thing plain, though- the PS3, 360 and PC versions will be "identical," so don't worry about superior or inferior multiplatform versions. In terms of new features, they're boasting about overhauled dribbling mechanics, a tweaked defensive system, and the new EA Sports Football Club feature, which is a free service "that offers news and updates on the real-world sport."
Oh, and did we mention that the Career Mode features no less than 500 officially licensed clubs…?

Wow, seriously? FIFA is a great game, PERIOD.
Look at it as a real-time strategy game and imagine the ball is a missile and you have to guide it to it's destination. Maybe that will help to make you see how fun it really is.
I hate Baseball, but I've given The Show a chance, and I can see that it's a great game, because even I had fun with it. You wont see me buying it or even renting it, but I'm not gonna go out of my way and say it's bad because it's a sports game.

Something smells here…..IMO, there's no way they can be identical on 3 different systems, they'd have to lower something about the game if the PS3's version is going to be identical to the 360 version.
And I would think that there would also have to be some kind of differences between the PC & PS3 version too.
I mean, if your going to make the game the very best it can be for each system, then they can't wind up being identical.

just put Peru in it already.
meh.
use to really enjoy soccer, but not anymore.
i guess the atrocity of the last world cup killed it for me!
Ahhh the Beautiful Game!! I can hardly wait. Only sports game I would ever purchase day 1.
You Yanks will never understand football. (I refuse to call it soccer).
It really is the beautiful game and the fact that the rest of the world watches it with huge numbers shows all your ignorance. And even if your too wrapped up in MLB, NBA etc that doesn't mean you should undermine it.
Ben keep posting the football articles,us Europeans need our football gaming news!
P.S. Cant wait for FIFA 12!!!
BRASIL!! BRASIL!! BRASIL!! 🙂
Can't wait to get my hands on this one. This is the only sport game I have ever purchased period.
Don't mind the whole graphic comparison, it has never looked as good as Madden anyways but, it the best sport franchise out there.
FIFA is the only sport game with a ball in it I purchase too LOL! Cuz I have Fight Night. 😉
What about the World cup was an atrocity _______?!? It was one of the best i've ever seen. It was exciting all the way through!!! I guess i shouldn't take what you say seriously anyway. You pretty much hate on everything… LOL. Fifa 11 is one of the most played games in my arsenal. No pun intended… Almost every person i've played fifa with has either gone out and bought it or comes over consistently to play it. These aren't even futbol fans either!!! It's just an extremely fun game to play.

100% agree with you DjEezzy! My friends all ask me if they can go play it on our lunch break. 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 is a blast with friends!
Oh yes at long last. I just hope the comms are better this time round. Fifa 11 while a great game the comms let it down sometimes it's ok on a 1 vs 1 but any mroe in or half a dozen players or so the comms are very patchy and hard to speak to one another.
