Unlike many critics, we really liked Medal of Honor , which is why we're excited about the sequel.
Thankfully, the game shipped over 5 million units, which was more than enough incentive for EA and developer Danger Close to pursue a follow-up effort. Executive producer Greg Goodrich announced the good news at the official MoH website : "Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor." We don't have any details on the project just yet but we'll leave you with Goodrich's words concerning the original title:
"As you all know, our goal was to tell the story of today's soldier and to do so with the utmost respect and reverence. We’ve received many letters, emails and messages from active servicemen and women from around the world, along with veterans and their families, with appreciation for our recent depiction of their community. I can't tell you how important this is to everyone here at Danger Close Games. You are the heartbeat of this team and this franchise and we are privileged and honored to tell your story. Medal of Honor has always been fueled by the passion of our fans and the commitment and sacrifice shown by the men and women of our armed services."
We really thought they succeeded in their goal, despite a few technical hiccups and a too-short campaign. Provided Danger Close addresses the bigger issues and gives us an even longer and more satisfying campaign, we'll be plenty satisfied with the sequel. What about you?

I enjoyed it…as a rental. The single player was great and the multiplayer was also fun to play. I'd probably buy it for a greatest hits price but not full unfortunately considering I've been waiting for KZ3 and been busy with KZ2 and Uncharted 2 for the multiplayer addiction 🙂
I'm so glad there is going to be a sequel. The last Medal Of Honor was under-rated. I just hope the single player has a longer story in the next game.
agreed. But for what the single player was I loved it. Had a good emotional twist to save your brother soldiers etc. Call of Duty's just kill run kill. Medal of Honor had you setting up ambushes etc. I loved it.
At least they are concerned with their portrayal of soldiers. Props for that. But as far as I'm concerned… another short military shooter? *snores*
A sci fi shooter that's twice as long. That's more up my street.
I think Hiram is the new anti-exclusive fanboy. He tells us how much he hates "frist" person shooters and uses Killzone 3( a AAA game)as his example. He trolls you then comments about how be bought MoH.
Oh, kids these days.

I know who he is, I find the simple truth shuts down stupid arguments pretty fast. These people are usually former xbots who were forced to pick up a PS3 because their xbox kept breaking so they don't want to admit that PS3 exclusives are better than anything yet.

…a converted xBot that was not fully converted, something happened along the way… one of his nutrient pipes were infused with some alien liquid…
Q!
"play.experience.enjoy"
sweet!
by far one of the industries most under appreciated games!
so much better then that crap they call COD or BFBC2!
BFBC2 was far from crap my friend. So far infact I think it's a huge insult to even compare it to cod
ermmm bad company 2 is brilliant!
and so is mw not w@w and black ops they suck
BC2 was crap compare to the original!
Truth be told, I didn't really care for BFBC2 single-player story and found MoH to be much better in that area. Having said that, BFBC2 is still one of my favourite games (that I still enjoy playing) because of the multi-player component.
What a surprise! You contradict yourself yet again. "drrr…I hate 'frist' person shooters, so I'll buy drr, teh MoH"
MoH is actually easy enough that you can play it with your eyes closed AND your hands tided behind your back…didn't know you loved "frist" person shooters so much.

Me either.
I really enjoyed it! My favorite shooter last year for sure. But it needs some areas addressed for sure!
I tried! I really wanted to like the multiplayer. It has promise I think but I couldn't get into it. Maybe they'll nail it with the sequel.

wasnt keen on moh tbh 🙁
It's definitely a love hate game haha. I can see why people wouldn't like it, I just happened to really enjoy it!
I hope they use a different engine this time. If they don't then it's a pass for me.
Minishmaru, can i play the multiplayer even if i rent the game?
You can play the mp if you rent it… But you'll have to purchase EA's online pass for $10. The online pass Comes with the purchase of the game.
