The latest Yakuza entry will hit store shelves on March 15, but if you want to sample before buying, a demo is headed your way, too.
Sega has announced that a demo for Yakuza 4 will arrive on the PlayStation Network on February 22. If you're a PlayStation Plus member, you can get your knuckles dirty on the mean streets of Kamurocho a week earlier (February 15). You'll be able to test out all four of the game's playable characters, which is great, because each boasts his own unique fighting style. When the game launched in Japan, it received plenty of critical acclaim and although Kazuma Kiryu is a confirmed bad-ass, it's great to have different characters.
Oh, and then there are the hostesses…
It's one of the most under-appreciated franchises on the PlayStation 3; no matter how many critics recommend a Yakuza title, it never seems to rake in big sales. Well, the heavy Japanese influence is a cultural barrier, we suppose, although the themes and concepts in these storylines are definitely universal.
