Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood comes out today and if you would like an edge – albeit a slightly unfair one – you should check out StregthGamer .
As you can see, much of the game's hidden information is displayed. You can learn how to nab all the Capes and Outfits, examine the rewards you'll receive from certain shops for completing Quests (as well as rewards for the rebuilding Rome metagame and guild levels), and see how to obtain all the rare paintings in the game. Also, we think it's kinda cool that if you can complete all of Leonardo da Vinci's War Machine missions, the master inventor will give you a parachute…thereby nullifying the fear of falling from great heights, right? Heck, we even learn that there's stuff to be found outside the Animus; by exploring modern-day Monteriggioni, you can find artifacts, which will then show up in your Sanctuary. Oh yes, and cheats do become available if you can 100% synch Sequences; for instance, you get the Killing Spree cheat for attaining 100% total synch on Sequence 3 and Unlimited Assassin's Signals for getting 100% total synch on Sequence 6.
Anybody else totally stoked for this one? …or are you waiting for our review? Fair warning; I want to get enough time with it before I issue the analysis.
Can we expect a review within 48 hours Ben?
Depends on whether or not he gets to sleep and not have to write anything for this site, probably. :p
Lol at the original post if it was a sarcastic comment, and if it wasn't then I will rest my face gently in the palm of my hand.
I actually took the time to find all of the hidden keys to access the best gear for Ezio in AC2.
And a parachute sounds useful for when a hay bail isn't around =)

Multi-platform gamers wondering what console version performs best?
Website, Lens of Truth, has a detailed analysis between the two versions of the game. PS3 owners should be glad that this version of AC closes the gap the best compared to prior AC releases. Though, under the microscope, the game still manages to have a few visual and performance advantages for 360 users.
But hey, you get that free DLC on PS3.
Fair trade?

Gradually, some of these multi-platform devs are polishing their game engines for the PS3. A pity they couldn't have done it earlier.
free DLC?
nice! what kind?
For me there are only 2 mayor rendering problems with this game:
1)They are using QAA as a result the textures appears to be blurred.(i really hope they can use mlaa for AC3)
2)After 3 games they still haven't been able to VSync the game so there are still screen tearing( which i really hate a lot).
IGN gave it a surprisingly low 8/10. Did Ubi-soft not ship them a free game system with the review copy?
Sorry, that whole Edge thing still has me skeptical.
I have memories now of MS dishing out "FREE" Xbox 360's for everyone who attended their E3 press event last summer. Yeah, no coincidence many of those in attendance would be representatives from the companies that report the gaming news… modest monetary loss for MS, that'll be compensated with a big gain in positive spin and exposure.
One of the IGN editors at the time wrote a retrospective about that very instance. Citing an un-named employee, who, during the car ride home, loudly proclaimed "I LOVE MS!" Referring to the new 360-slim that'll be showing up at his home and that those complimentary perks are effective at wooing them over…

ACII was my first Platinum Trophy and I plan playing the heck out of this title as well. However, I plan on picking this up in December as I'm awaiting GT5 at my doorstep next week.
Picking this one up today. Comes with a $25 gift card a TRU. Can't possibly miss that deal.
I don't have the nerve to go to StrengthGamer. Too many spoilers is not a good thing in my books. I'll just look up the map of feather locations when the time comes.
At toys r us? I don't see that $25 gift card anywhere with this game… I see it does qualify for a buy one get one 40% off! Maybe this isn't happening in my area or online…

It comes with a $20 gift card at TRU in store and today only, and yes as BigRailer said, it qualifies for the B1G1 40% off which is running all week. I went in with a friend and bought 2. Keep in mind, this is for the USA chains of TRU.
Game looks great.

You're right Hezzron, it's actually a $20 store credit. A great deal if you ask me especially if you're buying that second game at %40 off.
Does shopping for game deals ever get old? I submit that it does not.
Looks like a definite conterder for my 3 christmas games.
I just picked up this baby today. I'm done and done with ACII and ready to give it a spin. 😀
It's a shame I can't play it til Thursday though.. 🙁
