Michael Jackson's death shocked the world but that doesn't mean we can't revel in his music.
His songs have caused countless people to sing and dance for years and come November 23, you'll be able to enter a virtual world and do it for "real." A new trailer for Michael Jackson: The Experience debuted at the Tokyo Game Show this year and you can see it below. We catch a bit of gameplay along with a bunch of very happy fans interacting with the new game, which will indeed require the player to both sing and dance. Or maybe you can simply opt to do one or the other.
The music/rhythm genre exploded early this generation and sort of receded for the first time in 2009, but as of now, it's arguably the most mainstream video game category. And with the advent of Michael Jackson: The Experience , music-based software interaction is guaranteed to reach a ton of people. The number of fans worldwide who might be interested in this is…mind-boggling.

I LOVE Michael Jackson's music, and I LOVE gaming.
Why am I not excited…?
That Blondie inspired me!
to pitch a tent?
You guys see her shake that Wiimote like she knew what she was doing?! Oh Lordy…I gotta undo a button here…
That looks great, of course there's no chance you'd catch me doing that even on the coldest day in hell but whatever.
is it really bad that I wanna buy a wii just to do thriller
Why? It is coming to the PS3 too.
As part of Michael Jackson: the experience, you are encouraged to: convince people to let their young children share your bed, change the color of your skin, and dress like Liberace! This has to be one of the biggest money-grabs in gaming history! I put it right up there with E.T. for the atari 2600! FAIL!!!!!!
Two words: Jesus Juice.
Indeed the dance game the world is waiting for.
This is so on my list when I get Move.
What about Singstar Dance? Dance Dance Revolution? Or the inevitable PS3 release of Dance Central? There's much to choose from for the dance fan.
I think the Move and Kinect versions were delayed to 2011.
The Kinect I get, but why would Ubisoft delay the Move version? I'm sure the Move uses the same movements as the Wiimote, though it is way more accurate. Maybe that's why Ubisoft delayed it, to better optimize the controls for the more-precise Move.
If so, that is a good sign that developers will properly optimize their games for the Move instead of just doing quickie ports, sticking the PS3 version with canned Wii animations.
Im definitely a fan of Michael Jackson and a MJ game would be pretty neat but this better kick the balls out of games like "just dance".
To be honest, I would much prefer a new Michael Jackson's Moonwalker where there are rhythm sections dispersed in between the main action sequences (that were skipable for those that dont like rhythm games or didnt have the move). It would be one of the best 2 games in one experiences one could imagine for a Michael Jackson game.
