Twitter feeds strike again, as the micro-social-network continues to become a very important source of tidbits and info leaks. This time around, we've got a tidbit confirming the existence of an all new Tony Hawk game, which we've all known is in development, despite never being officially announced. The confirmation comes by way of Geoff Keighley's Twitter page stating that he is "Shooting in LA today, hanging out with @tonyhawk", and adding "@tonyhawk, looking forward to our chat today for Spike about the new game!"
It's no secret that the Tony Hawk franchise has been long struggling to regain the critical success and even sales it once boasted many years ago, especially now that EA's Skate franchise has blown up so much and offering gamers what they've been asking for. We'll likely get confirmation of the new Tony Hawk game this upcoming E3, which is just a few short weeks away, with a release date to land during the Fall.
Stay posted, we'll bring you more as it comes.

I owned THUG so I hope they go back to that kind of premise and gameplay.
No, THPS4 was the epitome of the series.

Go back to THUG 2'S classic mode and the create-a-modes it made it great + Jackass made it better to play
THUG and American Wasteland were definitely my favorites…you could really feel the quality plunging during Project 8 and after…
My favorite was THPS2. But my favorite level was the school from part 1. It was the first level that I could legitimately get 1mil on. No cheats jsut the ability to hit on of the biggest lines in the series.
I haven't play a TH game since THUG, and I quite enjoyed it. I'll be looking out for this.
Before I got my PS3, I had THPS 2 and 3 for PS1. I decided to give Project 8 a try, and although it was a fun game, it just wasn't the same as the old ones. I hope this new one will be better.
