John-ShepardIt's the little platformer that could and it continues to impress new players every day. For existing fans, Media Molecule isn't backing off on their efforts; more downloadable content is on the way over the next few months and when we say more…we mean more .
The entire list can be seen at WorthPlaying , and clearly, it's an impressive assortment of goodies. They'll be tossing up Rag Doll Kung Fu costumes, providing us with an improved decoration mode and music player, and adding an option to delete all community objects and photos. That's just a tiny sample of what is to come, though, as the end of April will see all sorts of neat-o stuff like Infinite lives checkpoint, tetherless jetpack, and more costumes inspired by Heavenly Sword and Valkyria Chronicles . The content ranges from free to $5.99 and for all you LBP aficionados out there, you're going to want at least some of it. Expect to see these continual updates on the PlayStation Store between now and May, and if you can't find something new in this list that appeals to you, we question why you even have the game in the first place. LBP is one of those productions that only gets better with time; you can thank downloadable content for that, and Media Molecule absolutely refuses to stop. They're just gonna keep pumping out the extras, which of course is what makes LBP so damn intriguing in the first place.
Why would we need a sequel when they just keep making the original game better and better? In a few years time, you'll have tons upon tons of content that was never there when you first purchased LittleBigPlanet , and there's nothing wrong with that. Applaud the hard-working MM guys and gals! It's called, "dedication."

This is DLC used well, you buy what you want, and the thing is if you buy nothing you can enjoy what others bought by playing their levels. The Metal Gear pack was great. Sometimes the costumes are overpriced, but now there are so many you just buy what you like. They give enough stuff away for free too. This company knows how to make the customers happy. I bet it's paying off for them as well. I'm sure there are people who have bought every piece of content. That's like buying the game twice (or more).
I know several people who have bought every last scrap of DLC yet for LBP, so it's most definitely paying off.

forget costumes and stickers, I would prefer some MM designed levels. The user created levels are nowhere near as good.
I agree. Since I finished the Metal Gear pack, and got 100% on all the levels I've hardly touched it. Noone plays my levels……I guess I don't have the touch. It think that they are OK.
How about a Sackboy costume for HOME?

Just checked out the list…man Media Molecule are just the coolest developers EVER. They're using DLC in the most positive way I have seen on PS3 yet. The option to play your own music in the pod and create mode is brilliant and should be implemented in a similar way into all PS3's major titles.
They should just concrete on improving online play and adding online create mode and the new patch
There's already so many costumes and everytime you purchase on it adds so many more component options that how many do people need at $1.99 each? I've got a few and am probably gonna hold off on anymore DLC for this game until they release some effin levels! My 'online experience' is not always that great with PSN (sometimes I can't connect to LBP community at all) and the user levels, while some are very good, are not nearly as good as the MM ones, so please break us off some more developer levels!
I 2nd the request for more developer maps. I actually think some of the community stuff is quite good, maybe better than some of the MM's stuff, but you gotta know where to find it.
I'd also like Media Molecule to highlight their community map "picks of the week/month" right inside the game itself.
I for one think that DarknessBear's interpretations of Dead Space are amazing. Incredible artistic and gameplay design.
IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!! 'sigh' – just when I thought I was going to give LBP a break and play some other games that I haven't gotten to since Christmas. That list is HUGE! And the ability to play your own music while you're creating or in your pod is awesome! I hooked up my stereo in the room to solve that problem, but it looks like I'll be able to put it away again 🙂
I have never payed for any downloadable content and believe i never will. Its all meant to be user created stuff so it should all be free to make and share like originally intended. If people find some stuff offensive they shoudl be able to report it or better again just ignore it.
but i do understand that alot of people really do enjoy the little selective optional extras that come at a price..so im glad its there for them.
You guys are crazy. There plenty of good user created levels, just go to search highest rated levels and you'll be surprised.

hmmm i aint sure, like i really love lbp and all this new stuff is great, but i picked it up again today to go online with my mate, and the lag is actually terrible. They really need to sort out their servers or something because it's unplayable whenever trying to play online with people
