Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Assaults PSN On March 5

If you're a fan of Frank Miller's stuff, and you were one of the first to see movies like "Sin City" and "300" in the movie theater, you're probably anxiously anticipating the release of "Watchmen" on March 6. And if that's the case, you may also be interested in the corresponding video game, Watchmen: The End is Nigh .

If you didn't already know, it's going to come in a series of downloadable episodes on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, which may or may not be more appealing to the fans. And now, if you check the game's official website , you'll see that Warner Bros. has confirmed the release date: March 4 for the 360 and PC, and the following day, March 5, for the PS3. This makes sense, because the 5th is a Thursday, which has become the common day of the week for PSN updates. This is another one of those titles that has "potential" written all over it…provided the developers do their jobs correctly. We're not asking you to hold your collective breaths, but we are asking you to keep your minds open.

For our part, we'll go into a review of Watchmen with fingers crossed, because after all, aren't we dealing with a crazy action premise with all sorts of superheroes? How bad can it possibly be…?

This is odd, I would've expected a full game on discs and everything. Details are welcome though.

Sadly, less hyped games like this are overshadowed by others. I will never buy this game, too many PS3 games coming this year. Bad economy doesnt allow me to get them all. Hope one of my friends can share new games with me.

*by the way, anyone know when the street fighter 4 review is coming?

What type of game will it be? Shooter, Brawler, Action? I'll wait to see what PSX impressions are on this title.

I love Frankie Miller's flicks.
"Sin City" was great(and I'm currently looking for a good cheap used copy of "300").

So here's to hoping the the "Watchers" movie & games will be just as good as his past stuff.

Watchmen was written by Alan Moore, NOT Frank Miller!

The movie was written by David "Solid Snake" Hayter.

@Orvisman,
OK thanks,
Mistaken by one of the above post's above, I thought that FM directed it, no?

Or does it not have anything whatsoever to do with FM?

Nothing to do with Miller.

Zak Snyder (Dawn of The Dead,300) directed it.
