It was one of the most artistically impressive games of 2008, and one of PSXE's personal favorites (despite a few irritating hiccups). Therefore, we're quite happy to learn about the first set of downloadable content for Ubisoft's stellar Prince of Persia .
According to GameSpot, the new content is called "Prince of Persia Epilogue" and is set to release on February 26. If you're a fan of the game, you'll love the idea of "over 3 hours" of additional gameplay, as you'll be able to explore a huge new underground palace area. Perhaps best of all, we'll get a few new techniques for the already-agile Prince; the first of which is the "Energize" skill, and it'll let players "temporarily rebuild destroyed objects in the environment to provide a clear path." Doesn't this sound a lot like the good ol' rewind-time feature? The second ability is called "Sprinting Clash," which adds a new move to the Prince's combat ability. Just for good measure, Ubisoft will be tossing in a few unlockable skins for both the Prince and Elika, and these will be let us see how the characters looked "during the prototype phase of the game's development." In the future, we could always use a sexy costume for Elika, who's definitely a raging cutie. Just a thought, guys.
Oh, and if you're wondering, you do not have to have completed the game in order to play this new content. Of course, you'll only be able to use that new power in the new area that's designed for it, but you can still download and open that new content even before finishing the main quest.

Okay, I have 1 night to play this DLC; after I get KZ2, I have a feeling that a lot of my games are going to collect some dust.
I'll take time out to play that, great game, additional greatness is welcomed
Wait, it can't be a proper epilogue unless it continues the story after the cliffhanger. I'm guessing this isn't free either, smells like a way to bully more money out of people for a feature that should have been available game-wide.
Agreed!
I had some fun with the game. I'll buy it.
If the dlc is cheap I'll gamefly pop and play through it(sold my pop already).
booooooooorrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggga!
am still not done with the game itself!

That's great news. I had no idea they were going to do any sort of expansion for this game and it really just adds some great value to any already great game as well as addressing some people's complaints that the game was too short.
I'll only get it if it's free.
And the "Prototype Skins" are already unlockable on the PC version. You can Google them to see what they look like.
Yeah I am excited about this! I loved the game and more of it is great news. I never even knew this was coming until today when my friend told me. They probably should have announced it a bit earlier as many people have probably beaten the game and sold it back already. My friend said something about there being some more enemies to fight, is that true Ben?
The same jumpin'n'grabbin with different scenario.
IMO, a waste of money
I'd have to see how much money they are asking for it before denouncing it as a waste (and even then it's still relative like everything else). The two new abilities, which also address the legitimate complaint alot of people had about some of the abilities being dupes of each other, infer that there should be a bit of variety in the new area and in combat, since one is an environmental type of skill and the other is combat oriented.
I just beat the game tonight. Fun, but awfully repetitive (much like another will-not-be-named Ubisoft game from last year). The only thing that kept me going through it were the two leads; they were alot of fun.

Sorry my rhyming is off today.
