It's the racing game that can never die, and because it's so great, we have zero problems with such longevity.
EA has announced that Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for the PC will be available in stores on February 5 in North America and February 6 in Europe. To match this release, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will receive the Party Pack premium download on the Network and Live Marketplace. As you might expect, PC owners will get the entire Paradise experience, which features all the updates Criterion has provided thus far. The Party Pack update for PS3 and 360 users boasts an offline multiplayer mode "where players compete in different stunt, speed and skill events." Up to 8 competitors can sit together and strive to become the victor in a variety of "turn-based challenges." This Pack will also provide you with several new features, including a restart option, easier control of early vehicles, and exclusively for the PS3, the Burnout Paradise Network. This is a live news page that continually updates information so you can keep track of friends and stay fresh on all the latest Burnout -related news.
As for The Ultimate Box , this is the debut of the game on PC. For those who have already enjoyed what this game has to offer on consoles, just prepare for the Party Pack in a few weeks time. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, head online; you can pick up Burnout Paradise on the PSN for only $19.99.

No, it's premium content so it'll have a price. I believe it might be $9.99.
Not free but quite cheap, I'm guessing £5 or so. To be fair Criterion have given us so much I really don't mind the cost now.
Anyone else getting the PC version when it comes out?
its not that surprising seeing as they've given us all that free stuff but i probs wont get it as ive finisshed with that game, got platinum so no need to spend a fiver on something i dont need
This game doesn't seem to go away and makes me feel guilty for not buying it.
Heck DIRT,Grid & co. died out but this,this paradise game……i don't know.
You should feel guilty. 🙂
burnout is awesome .. one of the best games i've played.. i'm definitely buying the DLC when it releases.. some of these other developers need to take a page from criterion books..
just checked burnout paradise is 29.99. is it going to be 19.99 when this comes out.
Wow, I never thought I'd say this, but Criterion did such a great job on the game, and proved to be so generous with their initial DLC offerings, that I'm actually LOOKING FORWARD to giving them money for their follow-on DLC offerings. They truly deserve it, as they've set the standard for all other developers to follow regarding support. Nice job, Criterion!
