Frank-ProvoSega of Japan confirmed today that the company's next fighting game, Virtua Fighter 5, which is being developed on Lindbergh arcade hardware, is also in development for Sony's forthcoming PlayStation 3 console.
Virtua Fighter 5 for PlayStation 3 will ship sometime in the Spring of 2007, and will be exclusive to Sony's console.
Nothing was revealed about console-specific features, except that once again players will be able to unlock dozens of costume and accessory choices for all of the in-game cast.
Currently, the arcade game is on test at select arcades in Japan.
