eBay Auction For Crazy Rare NES Game Goes Over $23k

Somebody's going to end up paying a silly amount for this one.

Not long after the super-rare NES game Stadium Events went up for auction on eBay , the bidding topped $20,000. It currently sits at $23,300 and there are still 7 days left.

The reason why this game is so valuable is as follows: When it released in 1987, it was paired with the Family Fun Fitness pad, and it was in very limited supply. That pad didn't last very long and these days, it's ridiculously rare. Also, don't forget that the game in question is factory-sealed so it might go for a huge sum… The seller adds that the game has been verified by the Video Game Authority, a group that grades and authenticates classic games.

The seller apparently used to work at Nintendo, so that explains a lot. Okay, get going. Place your bids!
