Okay, so it's still a long ways off, but at least we've got a concrete date.
According to the Hollywood Reporter , the first "Uncharted" film will land in theaters on June 10, 2016.
The news came the same day that Sony Pictures announced they'd be delaying the next "Spider-Man" movie. That one won't arrive until 2018, so we'll be seeing Drake battle through exotic locales long before Spidey swings back into action. "Uncharted" director Seth Gordon recently said filming would begin "early next year" and now it appears that is a definite.
As for the film in question, Gordon said that he really loves the "complexity and frankly the sophistication of the storytelling in the game," so here's hoping the movie stays true to Naughty Dog's accomplishments.
Everytime I see or hear the word "Uncharted" the theme starts playing in my head. Looking forward to this movie. Should be good, and Sony knows it can't be bad so they'll pull out all the stops to make it the new Indiana Jones without aliens edition.
Oh God, every fiber of my being tells me this is going to be a disaster of teeth gritting proportions.
I'll be able to tell more once casting starts, we'll get an idea of the direction they want to take it in.
Shia LaBeouf as Nathan Drake.
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Flynn.
John Travolta as Victor Sullivan.
Megan Fox as Chloe Frazer.
Aubrey Plaza as Elena Fisher.
…and I'm spent. Sleep tight Mr. Nelson.

I still can't believe they couldn't get a better director… or maybe they didn't want to.
I'm all for giving new people chances, but a franchise as great as this one needs guarantees.
Don't scare me Cesar. I already can't take Megan Fox as April O'Neal in Turtles.
And I think we need super talented relative unknowns. The stars can't can't can't be bigger than the adventure or will be just another adventure flick. When I'm looking down at the face of a man whose fingers are slipping off the edge of an impossible sheer cliff I want to see a face that resembles Drake and is trying extra hard to become a big Hollywood actor, not Mark Wahlberg phoning it in to collecting his paycheck.
I read somewhere that they still want Wahlberg, that to me would be a deal breaker before they even shoot the first scene.
This is going to be bad… Uwe bad…
well i cud be okay but yeah i'll agrew with world on magen fox she does suit either unchartered or turtles not even close and i'm trying to think of someone better (one of the girls from fast 6 maybe) what r ur ideas.
