Role-playing fans should enjoy a fantastic year in 2014.
Here's yet another promising title: It's Risen 3: Titan Lords , which is now coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on August 12, as confirmed by publisher Deep Silver.
A new extended teaser trailer is available now (check it out below), and there are all sorts of dark denizens that require your immediate attention. The game will boast overhauled combat, new animations and an improved magic system, although we don't have any other details just yet. RPG followers will definitely want more info about the narrative because after all, some of us really do care about the story…as opposed to just running around and making our character stronger.
This epic (hopefully) title should make the summer that much more intriguing for RPG fans.

This is nice to hear. While Deep Silvers games always lack the polish of some big budget games I still find them quite enjoyable and well worth the money I spend on them. They always offer hours and hours of play time.
Risen was pretty good, Risen 2 was better in a lot of way, hopeful for this title, but sad it's not on ps4.
Oh yay. Another RPG with knights, skeletons and dragons.
It looks good, and for all I know the story might be good too, but why oh why are *always* the same roles thrown at us in these ROLE PLAYING games?
Well Risen is a series and it would be a little weird if it didn't follow the first 2. Granted they could have made something entirely different, but for fans of Risen I'm sure they're glad the series goes on.
Interesting, I didn't play the first one, but I found Risen 2 to be enjoyable enough, if a bit clunky.
I'm also a sucker for pirates based games which this one isn't, but I'll probably give it a shot anyway.
