Rockstar Will Receive BAFTA Fellowship, Kojima To Present

Another honor for Rockstar.

On Wednesday, March 12, the Grand Theft Auto developer (also responsible for great titles like Red Dead Redemption , L.A. Noire and Bully ) will receive the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts Fellowship. Metal Gear Solid creator and legendary designer Hideo Kojima will present the accolade.

Accepting on behalf of the company will be Dan Houser, Sam Houser, Leslie Benzies, and Aaron Garbut. The Fellowship is BAFTA's highest honor and it's awarded annually; previous recipients have included industry titans like Will Wright, Shigeru Miyamoto, Gabe Newell and Peter Molyneux. Rockstar has indeed done some amazing things in this industry, and it'd be difficult to single out just one individual at the studio. So, by all rights, Rockstar really should receive this accolade as a team. Congrats!

Kojima presenting an award to Rockstar? If anything that's bigger than the award itself.
