Burnout Paradise DLC Pays Homage To A “Comedy Genius”

Thought they were done releasing extra content for Burnout Paradise ?

Think again. The death of a comedy legend has inspired developer Criterion Games to deliver the Legendary Cars pack, which you might still be able to nab for free. It includes the iconic Ecto 1 car from the "Ghostbusters" movie franchise, which starred the late great Harold Ramis as Egon Spengler.

As revealed at the team's Twitter page :

""Harold Ramis was a comedy genius. He inspired us."

This DLC is available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America and it was free as of yesterday, but it was only a one-day promotion. You may have to pay for it now but hey, you should consider paying homage to a guy like Ramis. The man who directed "Caddyshack," wrote and co-wrote a bunch of other movies, and starred in many more definitely deserves to be remembered with a certain fondness.

And if that has to be done while winging along the streets of Paradise City, so be it.
